with the titan's kernel you can set the frequence from 125mhz
up to 1.15ghz with a terminal command and it works with pr 1.2, so you don't need to update

so, when pr 1.2 comes.. i need to put it back to original frequency before i do the update?... and is this fiasco kernel compatible with pr 1.2?

PS: is it possible to overclocked with titan using x-terminal like what i did from the website?

Titan's kernel is 1.2 COMPATIBLE..
You can upgrade while using Titan's kernel!

Titan's kernel uses Xterm to overclock (or you can be sneaky and use queenbee con widget for auto OC).

ive been there already but i cant really understand the steps over there... theres lot of info which i really dont know what it means... i would appriciate if theres a instruction like the fiasco one which is just a 2 steps instructions. 1st downlad file, then type the code.. and done... but i dont know if you can do that with titan kernels too...

chase15 - While jakiman's guide is pretty long, the instructions are just as simple as flashing, if not simpler. Perhaps that you aren't (apparently) willing to sit through the instructions or want to be spoon fed commands is an indication that you shouldn't be overclocking your n900? I would hate for someone to tell you the exact commands, and you complain because your n900 is bricked...

Ummm. My guide has the below steps. It's about 5 steps really.

1. Install "rootsh". (if possible, version 1.5. don't have extras-devel respository installed for this)
2. Install the package "Enhanced linux kernel for power users" (section 'system' in application manager).
3. Shutdown the phone and power back up again.
4. Now install "Enhanced kernel for power users (settings)" from application manager.
5. Then launch xterminal, and follow these steps below:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=3412

You can do the above while you have the other kernel flashed.
