Can't say I've ever wanted to type, or even "tap" that way, but, different strokes for different folks.
Your "mod" for using it that way is better than using the built-in stand, although, some cases can do the job just as well.

The only problem with rubber feet is that they don't fit (or may break off) in slide-in-style pouches.

FWIW, I also found it a minor inconvenience but not enough to try to do anything about.

Possibly have an alternate thicker backcover that would make the back even (maybe that internal space could be used for something as well).

Of course it's not ideal for people that want to keep the bulk low...

We're still sorting our the last issues with taxes for donors from outside EU. That's the last thing we need to sort out until the campain starts. We have prepared completely new project website and feasibility study which will be published together with (or slightly after) the launch of the fundraiser.

The campain hasn't officially started yet. This page will be used to host it, but please wait a bit before donating anything until we sort out those last issues. It may be the matter of hours, or days at worst case.

Don't worry, when the fundraiser finally starts this statement will be taken down, as this refers to those tax issues we're currently sorting out.

Keep in mind that this page is not meant to be public right now. When fundraiser campain starts, you'll be notified here, on neo900.org, newsletter, RSS feed, Facebook and Google+ and possibly some other places too - you won't miss it

Great! The end of the month, the payday is near, I will have a bit of money to spend The "additional contact pads" and "prototyping support in battery compartment for your own ideas" if well placed inside the case (allowing to be combined with modified back case shield), sound a bit like Jolla's "the other half" idea, but in my oppinion even better
