I don't know if I'm the only person who wants this, but like any technically minded person I normally deal with metric measurement and can estimate in metres.

In the UK however speed and long distances are always in miles and it can be a pain leaving the settings in km/metres for this reason. So I'd really like Miles and Metres, yes I know, a mix of metric and imperial.

I've looked at the installed files on my n950 and could see a couple of configured constants and values like no.of yards in a mile. I've considered trying to edit these config-like files to see if I can make it deal with hybrid, however there is a more simple solution:

I can just make the lady say "metres" when it tries to use the wav file for "yards". So I went searching for where these downloaded files are and found them in a diskcache directory. However it didn't work when I switched the filenames around.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
