This is good for me because I will have to process fewer photos but it is not good for the competition.
Cmon, you have a lot of low light situations around you!
I will upload my photo when I get home.
Which is soon.
Good luck!

This was actually a test in night (evening, rather, ~half an hour after sunset) camera performance, but I somehow like it. N9, stock camera app in night mode, unmodified.

And hi to all, as this is my first post, still getting to know my "new" N9.

as evening falls over Brussels market: are they happy? 1/8 s / 400 ISO is hardly pushing the 808?

Where to drop the original for pixel and exif peeping?

You could sign up to Flickr, it has a nice interface, a free terabyte and a lot of users.

Taken a couple of months back, using raw cam. Hence the image doesn't qualify for the competition Still posting...

How can I compete with entries like that? Clearly I took the "low light" part too seriously.

Anyway, here is my entry. My daughter in a 3D cinema. In total darkness, only barely illuminated by the screen (showing trailers at the time so no risk of copyright infringement; I put the phone back in the pocket by the time the movie started ). Taken on Sun 20 October with my N900 which was clearly struggling in such low light. Downsized on the phone to avoid downsizing by the TMO uploader (and discovered a "feature" in the process that might throw a spanner in the whole "check the EXIF" idea ).
