I cannot use Microsoft BT Mouse 5000. Here are my steps:

1. install extmou from extras-testing
2. reboot
3. switch BT on in N900
4. hit connect button on mouse
5. discover mouse as new device with n900 and couple with code 0000

The mouse is listed in known devices, but it is not connected (the "disconnect" button in the edit menu is greyed-out) and the mouse also does not leave discover mode (indicator led is still flashing)

did i miss any steps?

Thanks.
Yes, there is another guy to help me. And he told me that first 10 days of 2011 will be used for development. Still no news, though.

To install qtmweb click on the link and save .deb file. After that open file manager and navigate to location where you have saved the .deb file and click on it. HAM should launch and install it.

Re what is missing in qtmweb - you can check here

No, your steps are correct.
You may try to install extkbd, where in UI there is an option to manually connect paired BT HID devices.

Thanx for this suggestion freemangordon. When I hit the "(re)connect bluetooth HID devices" then the message
Code:
An error occured while connecting Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000
Method "Connect" with signature "" on interface "org.bluez.Input" doesn't exist
Any further advice?

Edited file & successfully connects to bluetooth mouse however, when i move the mouse or click, within 1 second my n900 stops recognizing any movement or action by the mouse...so i have a mouse which i can use for half a second then wait 5 seconds before it responds again...please ANYbody know what might be wrong??

Did you try the left-right swipe to unlock the cursor?
