ha, no it's fine. my roommate's been kind enough to let me use his, but even the fix I've found for that isn't working. should I just flash the firmware at this point?

If all else fails flash the firmware. I have flashed it twice myself and both times it fixed the problems I had. Although if the problem was caused by you dropping your bag then it may not be a software problem.
I started getting an operation failed error when trying to open camera on my device (I think it may have been jostled a little when I dropped my bag). I've found a good number of threads that detail fixes for windows machines, but I'm using a mac. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a fix through leopard.
