Hey N9 and N950 fans!
It would be great to have Computeralgebrasystem on the N9(50).
An emulator of the TI-Nspire CX CAS would be the best think but i don't know how mutch work that is. I would pay some € for it at the Nokia store.

As a kind of first stab at it, there's been a fremantle app for Wolfram Alpha:

There is SymPy (Python CAS) for MeeGo Harmattan. With IPython and PyLab (NumPy & MatPlotLib), you have a complete CAS with 2D/3D plots on your Nokia N9/N950.

ipython and numpy should be available even from official repositories, I suppose.

What about the rest? numpy isn't terribly useful in and of itself. Are they in any repository? (Or the store )

Look at the links above that I cited.

They show that there is an older IPython from Nokia repositories (after I asked Nokia for including it in the beginning of 2011) and a newer from manual download. NumPy is from Nokia repositories.

SymPy, MatPlotLib and newer IPython can be manually downloaded (.deb) and installed as usual. I will release SymPy (with icon launching X Terminal, IPython, etc) on Nokia Store, but I am late.

I've planned to release "Calculus" (SymPy + QML UI for Integral, Derivative and Limit) on Nokia Store some months ago but other projects (Easy Debian Harmattan, etc) drained my spare time. I hope to release "Calculus" in January 2013.

I'm late with Calculus, but IPython 0.13.1 Notebook is now 100% working on Nokia N9. Just load SymPy inside it.
