is there a way to get keep offline copies of extras and extras-devel on memory card and use them instead of online repositories,if internet is not available. Its a 32 gb memory card. Will it fit in??
Sorry if it feels repeated or very noob.

You can use apt-mirror to mirror whatever repositories you like on local storage (including a memory card).

If you want everything (extras, testing, devel, nokia, ovi, etc.) I think it comes to about 50G (we're talking fremantle are we?).

i was just wondering if having a offline mobile repo on memory card was possible or not. It may come handy when out in some low network area.

See extras-devel light from mirror repos. Full-blown extras-devek was about 130GB, IIRC, but -light was much smaller.

Either way, you're aiming for 64GB+ SDXC cards.
