Thumbs up Re: SU-8W Keyboard Pairing - What's the Trick?

I can report that Andy's steps worked for me on my newly-flashed-to-Diablo N800. A reboot after you've nuked the contents of /var/lib/bluetooth/ is indeed required, but you don't have to pull the...

Re: Opera reports "this site has sent an untrusted certificate"

Thumbs up Re: Opera reports "this site has sent an untrusted certificate"

Emptying Opera's cache is the key -- I closed all windows, re-opened Opera, went Menu ⇒ Tools ⇒ Clear ⇒ Cache, and then restarted the tablet. Problem solved! A few days later I ran into the problem...

Re: Opera reports "this site has sent an untrusted certificate"

Thanks for answering, dcroennau. Unfortunately, rebooting doesn't sort it out for me.

I'm searching around to see if anyone can explain the cause of the problem, but so far all I've found is...

Re: Man arrested for stealing (wifi) broadband

That's always the case, though. There is no "the Internet" -- it's a bunch of networks, and they all belong to somebody, and they're interconnected under various terms, some commercial, some...

Re: Man arrested for stealing (wifi) broadband

A couple of points are sticking out in my mind and I don't think they've been addressed by others, yet:

The FCC and accepting interference: if I could demonstrate that my neighbour's WiFi spoiled...

Re: Installing airnort-ng on N800

Not sure why you've got a .tar.tar instead of just .tar, but the command to unpack tarballs is:

tar xf FILENAME

Like unzipping something in DOS, this'll splat the contents of the archive down...

Re: Which Bluetooth Keyboard for the N800?

That's because it's a combining accent key. Useful for putting accents on characters; for typing apostrophes, not so much. I noticed it right away, but you're the first I've found who mentions it....

Re: N800 USB connector

What you're interested in is "USB host mode". The short answer is, "no, not out of the box." The long answer is, I believe, that some people have hacked some gear together using spliced USB cables...
