X-Term I've never had a linux system before so I'm having fun learning the command line.

I've gotta say load-applet Not everything is always snappy and seeing cpu and mem utilization in statusarea give an insight to whats going on under the hood.

Conboy is cool as well, beats builtin Notes hands down.

Calendar ! Been waiting for that one since the 770 in 2005...
Now it just needs to sync with more stuff like its older Symbian brothers :-)

It does. Use Transfer & Sync or the Nokia PC suite app. That's what I did to restore my n96 backup

Hermes and OMweather are useful so far. Can't wait for a map app with voice turn by turn that actually works on US T-Mobile

It does sync, as I copied my calendar off the E71 directly, using just Bluetooth. That was slick. Haven't tried PC Suite yet, but I hope it works just as well as with S60 phones... but what is "Transfer & Sync", exactly ?

One thing I don't think it does is sync online using SyncML and http(s), Funambol-style :-)
