Interesting articles and Slashdot discussion about relations between big corporation, concentrated on hardware and its closed source system and Open Source community:

I find Slashdot comments much closer to the mark than McNealy whining but whole thing should IMO be noted here (and maybe in Finland).

Or, to put it another way, they lost out to the likes of Red Hat (where they're almost entirely open-source). :P
